- In the middle of the room littered with dry bones all over the floor that you almost get kicked out of
- In the room you first meet Ms. Mowz
- Atop the staircase leading to the bridge (that leads to Hooktail)
- In the same room as the Thousand-Year Door
Chapter 2: The Great Boggly Tree
- Boggly Woods. In the area with all the tree stumps, to the left of the paper plane space. Use Koops.
- Across the pool below the area where you have to make the Punies become bubbles
- Float across two paper plane spaces on a platform
- In the butt stomp trapdoor that leads to a room full of platforms, stay atop them and follow them to the background.
- In the room with the rising water level, raise the level enough so you can cross the lily pads to it.
Chapter 3: Of Glitz and Glory
- To the right of the Glitz Pit entrance, use Koops to reveal a hidden box underneath it. Use this to jump up and get it.
- While investigating the storage room of the Glitz Pit. Break boxes and reveal a blue switch and hit it, revealing stairs. Atop the stairs is the shine sprite.
- In Rogueport east, use Yoshi to get onto the building rooftops.
- In Rogueport east, behind the houses and cross the river to the left. Needs Yoshi.
- Underground in the room with all the different Warp Pipes. Hammer the yellow box to the right.
- Rogueport Sewers from Rogueport west. Fall down the sewer grate and float left with Yoshi.
Chapter 4: For Pigs the Bell Tolls
- In the forest, when you have to move the rock in background to move the rock in the foreground. After jumping out of the hole, one of the trees nearby has a shine sprite hidden amidst its branches that you’ll need to blindly jump to get (this may take several tries)
- In the well in front of the steeple
- In the room you have to roll into the left as you enter the Steeple, along with several other treasures.
- Just after the sliding gate with Vivian
Chapter 5: The Key to Pirates
- Rogueport west, first house in the area. Walk upstairs and roll through the small entrance to the right side wall.
- Roll behind a wall in Admiral Bobbery’s house
- On the way to the Pirate Grotto. Use Yoshi near the blue switch to get to the block.
- In the area with the rope bridge, cross to the right and look under the trees here
- On the half sunken ship near the entrance
- In the area with the heal heart, stairs, and waterfall, use Koops to reveal a hidden box beneath it to stand on
- In the storage room at the very top of the barrel rack
Between Chapters 5 and 6
- In the room with the rolling waves, use Koops.
- Another hidden box after entering a doorway
- Rogueport west. Use Bobbery to blow a hole in the wall next to the item shop.
- Behind the lamp in Mario’s room
- Give the young Bo-Bomb the engineer’s autograph
Chapter 6: 3 Days of Excess
- Riverside Station. At the bottom of the area with lots of stairs
- Riverside Station. After solving the “1, 3, 10” boxes and stairs appear, use Koops near the top of the stairs.
- Right next to Poshley Sanctum.

Between Chapters 6 and 7
- Underground. Use the spring jump in the area with the Star Piece collector to get atop the podium behind him
